Editorial policy

Last updated: June 23, 2026

This policy explains who writes NameProf's content, how it is reviewed, and how we handle sources, AI assistance, corrections, and affiliate links.

1. Authorship

Articles carry a visible byline linking to a real author with relevant experience — see Mohamed Zakrya. We do not publish under fake names or fabricated credentials.

2. AI assistance

We may use AI tools to assist drafting, but every published page is reviewed and edited by a person before it goes live. We do not publish unreviewed, machine-generated pages at scale. Content is judged on whether it genuinely helps the reader — not on how it was produced.

3. Sourcing & accuracy

Factual claims are cited to primary sources, and every statistic links to where it came from. Where a claim is an estimate (for example, a domain valuation), we say so. See how we test & verify.

4. Corrections

We fix errors promptly and update the "Last updated" date. To report an error, email info@nameprof.com.

5. Affiliate disclosure

Some links to third-party products (e.g. hosting, website builders, email) are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never determine our recommendations or the facts we report. Full detail is in our Terms and Privacy Policy.
