Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of nameprof.com (the "Service"), operated by NameProf ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

NameProf provides domain-related tools, including availability, WHOIS/RDAP, DNS, email-authentication, SSL, hosting/technology, and reputation checks, AI-assisted name generation, and (where offered) domain valuation estimates. Tool results are provided "as is" and for informational purposes; we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, as much underlying data comes from third-party and public sources.

Any valuation output is an estimate, not a formal appraisal. Any trademark or risk indicator is a flag for your own further review, not legal clearance or advice.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Credits, plans, and payments

The Service uses a credit system. New accounts receive a one-time signup bonus plus a daily free allotment (amounts as shown on our Pricing page and subject to change). Additional credits are available through subscription plans and one-time top-ups.

• Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize the applicable charge.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen interval until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, and retain access until then.
• Prices and credit allotments may change; changes apply going forward.
• Except where required by applicable law, payments and credits are non-refundable. Consumers in certain jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights that this clause does not override.
• Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: exceed or circumvent rate limits or the credit system; use automated means to access the Service beyond what your plan permits; resell or redistribute Service output without our permission; use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or abusive purposes; or attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service or its infrastructure.

5. Affiliate offers and disclosure

The Service may display third-party offers (e.g. hosting, website builders, email). Some of these are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up or purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. We aim to surface relevant offers, but you are responsible for evaluating any third-party product and its terms.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL RESULTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. We do not warrant that any domain is available, registrable, or free of third-party rights; verify independently before relying on any result or registering a domain.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NameProf will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time; certain provisions (payment owed, disclaimers, liability limits) survive.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date; continued use after changes means you accept them.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
